HA-6A MK2

The Cayin HA-6A MK2 is a single-ended Class A headphone amplifier powered by KT88 output tubes. The driver tubes amplify signal voltage under highly linear conditions, while the K188 tubes deliver complete, undivided output tor maximum musical integrity. Cayin designed the gain circuitry, independently adjusting the operation current of each vacuum tube stage and pairing it with a pure, stable power supply, ensuring the HA-6A MK2 fully expresses the rich tonality and musical depth that single-ended Class A design is renowned tor.

Delivering 3000mW (TR) or 4500mW (UL) per channel, the HA-6A MK2 powers a wide range of headphones with both precision and musicality.

Designed for uncompromising sound quality, the HA-6A MK2 features a dual-chassis design that isolates the power supply for lower noise and greater clarity. Each amplification stage is independently regulated to minimize interference, while a custom silver-plated copper umbilical cable ensures efficient, lossless current delivery.

The headphone amplification circuit has been upgraded with high-quality components, delivering breakthroughs in both core performance and user experience. With wide compatibility and enhanced driving power, it can accommodate and power a greater variety of headphones.

High-Voltage Rectifier
Equipped with two JJ GZ34 / 5AR4 rectifier tubes, delivering strong and stable current output. 

Voltage Amplification Stage
Driven by two JJ 12AU7 / ECC82 dual triodes, providing enhanced signal gain while preserving fine detail and layering. 

Single-Ended Class A Power Amplification
Utilizing a matched pair of Genalex KT88 tubes, faithfully reproducing the natural tonality of music with rich, engaging sound. 

Impedance Matched Headphone Output

In-house output transformers provide impedance-matched outputs for low (8–64Ω), mid (65–250Ω), and high (251–600Ω) loads, ensuring natural, balanced sound. With 6.35mm, 4.4mm, and 4-pin XLR outputs, it delivers up to 4500mW per channel for demanding headphones, while the optimized 4.4mm jack suits sensitive IEMs with reduced output and improved S/N performance.

Dual Operation Mode
Change your sound signature with the flip of a switch. Triode mode offers a smooth sound with rich harmonics and lush, holographic imaging. Ultralinear Mode improves the dynamics and punch, with a clean authoritative sound and enhanced extensive on both ends of the frequency spectrum.

Cayin has always insisted on developing high-quality transformers in-house. The custom toroidal power transformer uses a high-purity copper winding design, which produces lower magnetic noise compared to standard transformers.
