This amplifier met or exceeded all of my expectations. It runs very quiet when idling, even when hooked up to my 100 dB sensitivity speakers. The sound is as good as any amplifier I have heard, and I've been listening to tube amplifiers since the early 1980's. It has very good bass for a tube amplifier, and still has the tube mid-range and treble magic. On top of all this, it looks beautiful. This amp is under priced, in my opinion. I couldn't be happier!
